Properties and steps for finding square root

let me share with you few important contents on properties of square root and steps for finding square root.
Propositions about square roots :
If number having units digits as 2, 3, 7 or 8. It is not a perfect square and it does not have square root. If a number has a square root, then its units digit must be 0, 1, 4, 5, 6 or 9.
For perfect squares m and n, √m * n = √m *√n. This Rule is quite helpful in determining square roots of large numbers.
Steps for finding square root:
we have the following steps for finding the square root of a perfect square n :
Write prime factorisation of n. Pair the factors such that primes in each pair are equal.
Choose one prime from each pair and multiply all such primes.
The product obtained in (ii) is the square root of n.
We may find the square root of a decimal number without converting it into a rational number. We do it as follows :
Place bars on integral part of the number in the usual manner.
Finding square root in the method of division process as usual.
Put decimal point in the quotient which are in the integral part is exhausted.
When remainder value becomes zero then stop the process. Now, The quotient is the square root of a number.
